AAA Four Diamond resort with on-site dolphinarium on Akumal's Caribbean coast

Overview & Beachfront

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa All Inclusive holds the AAA Four Diamond award and sits on a two-mile stretch of pristine beach in Akumal. The property contains five large outdoor pools, including a semi-Olympic pool and a lazy river. The hotel is located 26 km from Xcaret Park and 30 km from Playa del Carmen. Its most distinctive element is an on-site dolphinarium where guests can watch complimentary shows or book swimming experiences.

Dining & Bars

Eight themed restaurants serve Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Thai, Japanese, and French cuisine. Additional food and drink venues include a poolside bar, a coffee shop, several bars, and a 24-hour sports bar. The hotel also offers a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant called Oishii and an on-site souvenir shop.

Suites & Accommodations

Spacious hotel suites offer ocean or garden views from private balconies and include a separate seating area with a flat-screen TV. Bathrooms are equipped with a whirlpool tub, bathrobes, and slippers. Each room has a minibar restocked daily, and 24-hour room service and air conditioning are provided.

Spa & Wellness

Spa Sirenis delivers a full menu of treatments, including Mayan-inspired rituals, massages, facials, body scrubs, and a hydrotherapy circuit with saunas and steam rooms. Beauty services cover manicures, pedicures, hair styling, and waxing. The spa also provides a fitness centre and yoga classes for guests.

Family Activities & Entertainment

The hotel operates a kids' club with supervised daily activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, and video games, plus an outdoor children's playground and water play area. Evening entertainment includes live shows (Michael Jackson tribute, fire show on the beach), karaoke, and a nightclub. Active guests can use the tennis courts, archery range, bike tour routes, and rent snorkelling or kayaking equipment from the water sports centre.
